I didn't use the current averages in deciding my votes.

(I didn't vote so that I could necessarily compare any 2 characters on the list and see which I liked better-- the only reason I didn't is because that would take too long -- I just gave a number as their name came up. But that doesn't stop them from being indicative of my tastes.)

Well thanks for joining the ranks of Ranking Gen. I will record your scores and amend the results. As far as voting again and changing scores, I did this in 2002 and I thought it would be nice to do it again. It seems to be a once a year thing because its awful expansive and till I get through one cycle of the characters it could take a month or two possibly longer as far as the game appearance abbreviations. I use them simply as a reminder as to a game they were associated with; to help refresh peoples memory as to where to see a character. One of my favorite SNK characters, and among the few KoF characters I like (and the only Ikari Warrior I like at all). It's cool to have characters like these among SNK's over-overabundant plethora of squeaky voiced, overly hyper females. And on top of that, she's an interesting character anyway.

Roy Bromwell: (PJ) 9 Stylish, fun to use and just a cool guy all around.

Hanzou: (SS) 10-As I said before SS characters just tend to kick @$$. Great design even for a ninja (who tend to be cool anyway) and some awesome moves.

Ohh, I see now, I did read your comments but missed what you were trying to say the the 1st time. When I reread it, I see what you mean now. That presents an interesting conundrum I never had that happen yet, well I will average you 7 with the 9 and presume an 8?

For Gen, yes all those scores reflect you votes. I just did not put your name with JJJ, I see that causing some confusion. Sorry, I will go back and add your name on that list.

I'll give it a shot.

Leona: (KOF) 9. One of KOF's first original females, pretty, cool fighting style, cool story.

Wolverine: (Marvel vs.) 6. I don't like how overused he seemed to be way back when. A scrub character. Don't like his deisgn either.

Spider Man: (Marvel vs.) 8.5. Just because he's Spider Man. He's not all indestructible like other superheroes. And he's not a bad character to play as, either.

Wang Koh San: (AOF3) 2.5. Not the worst I've seen, but pretty bad. He's half the size of the other AOF characters and fights really stupid as well.

Roy Bromwell: (PJ) 4.5. He doesn't stand out too much, but he doesn't suck entirely either. Quite average.

Angel: (KOF) 10. Serioiusly, how can you not like a character who's cute, hot and evil at the same time? Plus, she plays different from any other character in KOF. Very good.

Rose: (SFA3) 7. I think she's got a cool deisgn and all, but she doesn't mesh with Street Fighter Zero series too well. I heard she was originally meant for the Vampire/Darkstalkers series, and I think she'd fit best there too. Her rating would be higher if she were, at least for me.

Hanzou: (SS) 8. Though I have mostly bad memories of the cheapness this guy inflicted on me in Samurai Spirits 3, I can't deny that he differs from the typical mysterious ninja. Nice story and such, cool attacks.

Goro Daimon: (KOF) 3. Too plain. People abuse his bugs. Never talks. Boring.

Rain: (Plasma Sword PS) 6.5. Unique design, but I don't know too much about her.

Well here I go ready to vote! First of all I want to state preamble on Plasma Sword. I have never played or seen played this game. All I have seen is pictures and the character designs on the characters. My scores are basically going to reflect their character designs which is at least 50-70% of my rating any how. The next big thing is their moves. Well here is how I feel on that game as a whole. There is a FEW, and I mean few redeemable character designs. I saw somethings in there that bring new appreciation to characters like Choi and Micky Rogers ect.. I guess what I saying is I have a disdain for most the characters IMO, on to the voting.

Leona: (KOF) 9.2 pretty cool cahracter

Wolverine: (Marvel vs.) 6.99 he is a good design, but has grown boring and I resent that Capcom has 2 versions of him in MvC2. That was cheap why couldnt they have given that spot to Thor or Jublilee since they at least had some sprites on them

Spider Man: (Marvel vs.) 7.01 I actually prefer Wolverine but read above to see why he is scored better

Wang Koh San: (AOF3) 2.1 Does this guy think he is the Iron Chef or something. Out there fighting with pots and pans, I guess thats ok if your cool, but he is not

Roy Bromwell: (PJ) 7.95 Capcom's Terry not bad

Angel: (KOF) 9.4 This chick is cool. I will tell the coolest story my girlfreind is Mexican and she has no idea of Angel. Yet still did that lil horns above her head thing. You could only imagine what I thought. Life is goood!!! Adon dates Angel ha ha ha

Rose: (SFA3) 8.2 Probably the most elegant female fighter around

Hanzou: (SS) 9.25 bad ass ninja

Goro Daimon: (KOF) 9.10 I like this Grappler, it seems you like him or hate him really no in between on him Im finding this out as I tally the votes

Rain: (Plasma Sword PS) 6.75 she looks like a fantasy star no not phantasy star, Again one of the few good PS characters

Its no problem The Beast I will update the scores tomorrow, I want to let you know that you did not vote for round 2. Those 25 characters were all part of round 1. I went overboard befor dropping back to the 10 character format
