After an hour of playing here are my thoughts. The graphic's are very impressive, but not a huge step over Soul Calibur on the DC. Animation is great and the colors are vivid. The music is very well done, and the ZoL theme rocks. On to the characters:

Talim - Quick and very easy to use.

Cassandra - Very good with kicks and has cool throws.

Kilik - So far he plays like he did in Soul Calibur.

Xianghua - So far she plays like she did in Soul Calibur, but seems slower to me.

Link - He is so cool, he has a bomb attack, arrow attack, and a boomerang attack. Seems very balanced.

More to come soon....

Yes to both, but I am not sure what his story is since I can't read japanese.

Link is funny. He has many moves from many games. For instance his back throw has him sitting the opponent down, whereupon he PUSHES THEM ALONG THE GROUND LIKE A ROCK. I shit you not. He has a dash move where he starts running in place and shoots forward. He has his upward and downward attacks from Zelda II and can even bounce up to three times on the opponent's head with the downward attack, just like in that game. He can shoot arrows, bombs and boomerangs. And for his winpose the music does the familiar old Zelda "you got an item" fanfare! Too, too funny.

This game is awesome, but PS2 owners got screwed in the secret character department. That is all.

If you ask me, which no one has, I think Heihachi should have been on all 3 systems and the PS2 and XBox should have both gotten Spawn in place of Link.

I feel that is more fair and just, but then again it doesn't "force" people to buy all 3 copies to enjoy the best Guest character, the only reason Tekken is cool, and a sh*tty anti-hero who was passed his prime ten years ago. (those are my personal views of course, so if you don't agree, that's good! debate and conflict are what add spice to life! do not conform to the views of others!!!!)

Don't hate on the geezer! Like I said a while ago, people who like Tekken bought a PS2, so Heihachi was a decent choice. Link's definitely the best of the three, just because of all the classic references in his character, but if it was just some random elf character and not Link I wouldn't give a crap.

And it hardly ever happens, but there is a tiny bit of slowdown when too many effects are on the screen at once (when a glowing attack gets a counter-hit spark, the game slows down for a brief second).

Hmm, I'll definitely give the credibility to the seventy-something dude who's gotten chucked off cliffs and other things some number of times and still stayed so hoss. Personally, I could do without gimicky extra charas that shouldn't be in the story in the first place. Trying to imagine Rockman appearing in Street Fighter Zero 4, and cringing...

I'd rather have Heihachi in both games, and no Spawn at all. Don't need a Namco game sullied by one of the characters that helped ruin the US comic Industry...

(And one nobody cares for...Spawn doesn't sell anymore, and hasn't sold well for a few years now).

I agree.

That would've been the best solution seeing as how GCN would get the cool :ink, and us PS2 and XBox owners can get the ultra-cool Spawn.

It's causing some major debate between console owners already on who's is better.

I'm curious to hear how Link plays. And if he's tied in with the SC storyline somehow, instead of being just a hidden character. Same goes with Spawn.

And BTW,simple words from a good friend of mine,"If I wanted to play Heihachi,I would go play Tekken".

It is my understanding that Sony has rights over the Tekken games, that happened when Namco wanted a port of the to DC; and where forced to cancel it, thus they have to change it to PS2, making TTT... That's why it feels a little diferent to the original when you go Really in depth.

But that Tekken game could still come out on GBA?
