Hey!
Where do I begin? After this final, I am free of school...for only a lousy week plus. Then a new quarter will begin and another 12 weeks of school will take place.
Well, what do you want to hear first, the good stuff or the bad? Ah, I'll go with the latter. I just want to vent out my frustration now and get it over with.
I already talked about school. This quarter's no different. When I did science labs, my lab teacher didn't get a few of my reports even though I turned them in on time. Thought that was bad? I was supposed to get a C, but when my main science teacher said that homework would play a role in his class, he was wrong. I had to experience a not so fun pop quiz parade, since I am not a good test taker, and he hardly did let us hand in homework. If you say that homework plays a role in the class on paper, back that point up.
Gee. I had lost lab reports when I should have gotten full credit on them. I payed a bogus fee even though I returned my math book back in high school. I was actually over charged on a meal one time in my first college. (I jumped from San Jose State to two different J.C.s.) Yeah, I really hate school.
I am getting sick and tired of people at Gamefaqs that think I am not a good reviewer and they don't show class when they give ways to improve. Some people will just give messed up comments and not give ways to improve at all. Gah! Gamefaqs used to be one of the greatest places ever and now it is a dumpster! At the end of the year, I will stop reviewing games at that site and find a new place to review games besides my place. No. I will stop reviewing games there at the end of the month. I don't know if it's worse than Shoryuken.com now.
You know what? My spirit of reviewing games is dying. I should have let it died or at least only do video game reviews in my place. Probably the next place I go to will be just as bad. If not, worse. Maybe Anime-Genesis is a nice spot. That place needs reviews.
Thank goodness for this board! Now these days, I spend more time here than on the Gamefaqs boards. The only board I visit there is the anime board that talks about series not shown on television a lot. That's it.
Don't want to talk about the war. America already has enough problems in the last four years. Shoot, I'm not even surprised that people back in the Philippines are boycotting McDonalds all over the country and I was there a couple of months back.
Okay. No more bad stuff. Let's go to good stuff now, like music, ice cream, money, ninjas and so forth.
I will put up a Newtype IX thread soon. I think it is number nine. Hee hee.
I got various themes now like the theme songs of Chobits, Hand Maid May and Pita Ten as well as the Azumanga image song of Yukari-sensei and Nyamo-sensei. I want an Osaka figure! Got some SFZ III tracks, some from Seiken Densetsu III, though I want that darn Holy Manaland theme, and some other tracks not at the top of my head now. Been doing reviews that lack spirit I used to have.
New SNK vs. Capcom game - I doubt that it will be great. I never liked the art style to begin with. See the art of Ai Yori Aoshi on Animefringe? I want art like that or art from Kita Senri. I love that art of Aya there!
I think this is the only upcoming domestic destined game I'm looking forward to. Don't care for the new domestic games out there pretty much. I'd be surprised if I actually win a Game Boy Advanced SP. Might get the new Pocket Monsters games, though I doubt that I will actually like it.
Speaking of which, how America was able to show clips of the next Pocket Monsters anime is beyond me and I don't even know if this series will add to Souichiro's already busy schedule. I think I saw a clip of it a while back and no, I did not experience a seizure. I know Kasumi is gone, but not Satoshi and Takeshi. Forgot what's the name of that girl, but it doesn't matter right now. I know that her design looks really weird and I don't know who has less style - her or Kasumi. Maybe Natsumi is the only girl in the series that had style. Too bad she was in what, only two episodes of the anime and one volume of the manga?
I know Megumi will be back. I think this will be the latest anime she is in. I remember a Slayers movie came out the year before last year in Japan, but that's the last time I have heard from her. At least, to the best of my knowledge, this is true. Wah! I really wanted to see that movie! I know there is a fansub of it somewhere!

Are you talking about the 45 minute Slayers movie that dubbled with the Sakura Taisen movie or was it further back than that? If so I had a fansubed copy on my computer a while back, so if that is indead what you're looking for then it's out there.

As for .hack/sign, I have not reviewed it. Seen some of it, but I have not watched enough of it to review the series. I know I did not start a thread because I was away for school.

Yeah! It doubled with the Sakura Taisen movie as well as some others. I believe the name of it is Slayers Premium.
