I have not yet seen any episodes so far and I'm very irritated by this.

Does anybody know if there are online videos of episodes or something?

I started watching Rurouni Kenshin today. It has been fun so far :)

*cough* It starts with a K and it ends with an A *cough*

However, I prefer DVD's. Too bad anime is hard to find over here in Holland. Importing is an option, but without a creditcard that's impossible. Sure, there are a few shops that import DVD's, but the prices are ridiculous.

By that I assume you mean the newer OAV, actually called Seisouhen (somewhere around the "passage of time" arc), I can't recommend it as a fan of the comic, but you may get a kick out of the very very high quality animation and music. Basically, it's fanfiction--none of the stuff (well, almost none) actually happens in the Kenshin comic. If you could tolerate the principle of stuff being totally made up for the later half of the TV series (or Dragonball GT or something, can't think of any better invented TV-only series), then you should be able to stomach it. But it's utterly unsatisfactory when you realize that an entire third of the comic, arguably the most critical part, remains unanimated. Like the otherwise-hollow Escaflowne movie (compared to the TV series), it's sooo alluring with visuals so incredible, though....!
