I had been playing for 4 hours, the game is so dam promising, it might turn out best game ever!and beat OoT for bening best game ever! (at the over all ranking)
I don't know what to say, it will be much more beatiful when you play it, it kick ass so much SO much, Graphic wise the game as every one said amazing, the battle seems much more better,there is alot of talking (compare to the other Zelda's).

I just got my call to come pick up my copy of Wind Waker earlier today.

You know, I'm sure it's going to be an awesome game. I've played it hands on many times. But for some reason, I've simply never been -excited- about the game. I'm picking it up, yes. Would I had there not been the preorder give away? ... Hard to say.

I'm not sure why Wind Waker doesn't excite me, but it's entirely possible my feelings will change once I start playing.

I don't know what to get. Either get Zelda or Dynasty Warriors 4. I have Zelda pre-ordered so I can get OoT, but those Dynasty Warriors games are hard to find around here and I'm sure that there will ALWAYS be a Zelda somewhere around here.

Is every copy a gold disc or only pre-ordered copies?

Well, there's a chance that I can get both and save $20. I'm a replay member at SamGoody where I go to college and I have $20 in gift certificates coming in, and I can use them to get Zelda (I have it pre-ordered there and they can't sell it for...I think a month) so I might be able to get both of them...

If you can get Zelda for $30 (using certificates), or you can get Metroid Prime for $20, or Beach Spikers (which is $20 and using certificates it'll be free) which one would you get?

The art style for the characters still greatly offends my senses, and that kid with the booger scares the living shit out of me.

Aside from that, its looking to be a promising game. ;) Metroid Prime still owns the GC IMO though.

I've barely started in on the latest Zelda but so far I love the way the game looks. It's also good to see that the series still doesn't take itself too seriously and gives Link plenty of time to chase pigs and to discover that one of the first big allies he gains during the game is the mailman. The problem is I think I made a mistake going from the latest Tenchu -which is dedicated to nothing but stealth- and the more general adventuring of Zelda. The first "dungeon" involves a lot of sneaking around and Link, when compared to Rikimaru and company, is a lousy ninja.

I got my copy yesterday and began playing it. The kiddie graphics don't bother me at all... so far the game has been very immersive and beautiful. The music is ok (but I sill love the score from Ocarina of Time better).

I just want to say I'm loving the game. I also finally found a copy of KoF EX Neoblood for my GBA and it's not as bad as everyone made it sound, though it isn't perfect. As for Zelda, I think it is incredible. I don't know how to describe it in whole, and I won't until I finish the game.

Just curious, but when did it become manditory that a portion of a game has to be dedicated to having your character crawl through air ducts? At first I wondered why Link had the ability to crawl but now I realize it was so he could engage in some air duct spelunking. Out of all the fads that come and go in video games I never thought air duct crawling would become so popular.

Well, I didn't get Wind Waker, I got Dynasty Warriors 4 instead. My friend bought Zelda and I played it and to tell you the truth, I really wasn't into it. I guess because my friend was so damn excited about it and ruined it for me.

Anyway, I'm having fun playing DW4 and kickin that ass.

I LOVED the animation on Zelda though, the gameplay is the same (which is good), I like the remixed music too. I didn't like how the game was SO damn bright though. I think that was my friends TV though, because he has the brightness up because he can't see very well.
