you talking about this?
Yes I was partly refering to that.
quote: I was actually pretty pissed when I read this. the minibosses are the INNOVATORS of the NES coverband. they did it first, and as far as I'm concerned they do it the best.
(I can understand being pissed at that by the way).
If they're the first band that plays only NES songs, or the first band that plays only video game songs to have a web site, well I don't really want to research that but I'll give them that that may be a first, I dont' know, but as for being innovators I don't believe they are. Covering other people's songs is in it self not innovative, covering other people's music has been around for thousands of years, and covering video game music at least sense the 80s. There have been dozens and dozens of bands and individuals that have played music from video games, from garages to major label acts. I've thought about forming a band and playing only game music during a performance, but now that it's so clearly been done already I'm less interested. I'm sure thousands of other people have thought the same idea at different times outside of those who tried it out. (Remember it's my opinion of some band that plays video game music, not a personal attack on people with different opinions, anyone's free to agree or disagree. )

I agree. Keep games clean don't sink into rappy territory. Did anyone notice there are some game designers in somewhat recent interviews who have gotten a little "dis"y.
