Boy, I feel embarrassed to ask... u///uU. I only had connexion to the Internet through the normal phone line and paying it like a normal phone call, and it's been this way until I got DSL recently. That's why I didn't put much interest in sharing programs or fansubs, and now I feel quite lost, so here go 3 questions:

1- Could you tell me some good web with elinks to fansubs (or another good way to get'em)? I'm specially interested in FF:U cause a friend left me the first 12 episodes and I wanna finish it, and feel curious too about Wolf's Rain. As for the rest, well, I accept suggestions, but I don't wanna start too quickly.

2- Here goes nothing....*cough*: Is there any way that once downloading something it will keep going and won't block while I'm not there (in emule)? *pheeew..* There, I've said it.

3- This one was in a thread a while ago but can't recall much: Which fansub groups do you recommend me? Only interested on good translations, don't care about...euh..."speed". The only group I know, cause the FF:U episodes I have are from them, is Soldats, what can ya tell me about them?

And I think that's all. Thanks a lot for your help!

My favorite fansubbers for now are Keep and ANBU. And they're subbing the three series I'm following (Wolf's Rain, Kiddy Grade, Gunparade March).

If possible, stay far away from Animejunkies.

Let's start for two nice pages to get the fansubs groups info and series

http://www.animenfo.com/ (all the fansubs info you need)
Also a good link for fansubs AND licensed anime
http://www.baka-updates.com

Now for download anime in Http and Bittorrent this are good addresses

http://web.mit.edu/bandersn/anime/(verbal's site updates frequently, mostly Wolf Rain, Naruto, Getbackers, Dragon Drive and some others)

By the way if you do not know what bittorrent is check on the link to http://www.animesuki.com /

http://www.fansub-support.net/ (great site updates daily, almost all bittorrent stuff)

Now about my favorite fansubs groups i think Anime Keep-Anbu, AnimeOne, Anime-kraze, Anime-empire, Animehaven, Ishin Digital, Rice-box, and Xenonfansubs are the better ones lately.

Soldats were good but in this days they don't have much series on the work and take a long time to release their fansubs.

My favorite series right now are Getbackers, Kiddy Grade, Wolf Rain, Hack Dusk, Spiral and of course Saint Seiya Hades other series you can check are Naruto, Haibane Renmei, Ghost in the shell stand alone complex and older ones like Witch Hunter Robin and Samurai Deeper Kyo.

Well that's all i guess
Good Luck!!!

Once you get a decent amount of stuff to share, Direct Connect is the way to go to get movie files and stuff. My friend has easily filled up several hundred gigs of space since he got his raid working. Plus no spyware.

Kazaa is usually the way to go for Fansubs. If you like the cheery stuff, I would suggest Angelic Layer, but it's been licensed and I don't much care for distributing licensed anime. lol. However, if you like Giant Mecha/Shonen/romantic comedy, I suggest Full Metal Panic. It's quickly become one of my fav Anime.
