FFX-2 Ships in Japan
1.8 Million units



Square announced today that 1.8 million units of Final Fantasy X-2 for PlayStation 2 have been shipped in the Japanese market. The game went on sale at 6:30AM.

The Presidents of Square and Enix along with the Idol Singer for the game were on hand at a popular store to witness the launch. Over 200 people were waiting outside for the store to open this morning.

President Wada of Square mentioned the decision to create a sequel to Final Fantasy X was due mainly from demanding fans. The game has from 40 to 100 hours of game play depending on your play-style and how involved you want to get.
