The first gameplay clip at the bottom of the page shows him fighting Sol. He still has the sword. The missle looks like a quick anti-air projectile, and it looks like he still has the regular uppercut as well.

Not e-xactly, more like one of the many grunt soldiers that are completly inept against the hero, despite how cool/ many/ powerful they look.

TK, my theory of GG character design is that the storywriters have five or six lotto ball machines, in each, there are 50 balls each with a different adjective written on them. Every time the designers want to pick a new character, they pick up to six lotto balls, such that they have a [ Updated ] [ Soprano ] [ Millionaire ] who fights with the [ Shortfall ] School of Fighting and a [ Strange ] [ Key ] and was a [ War Slave ] of [ Justice ] in [ Oil Fields ].

NB: Words in " [ ]" are random words lifted from the CNN homepage.

I would like to add that I hate fighting Robo Ky. Not because he is hard to fight or because he runs on Windows (probably ME,) but because the song "Holy Orders?" makes my ears bleed.

I don't think Robo-Ky was in the arcade version, making him "new" in the same way that Kliff and Justice were "new" in GGX+ (or GGX2 in the US).

Also, it looks from the screenshots that Sharp Reload Robo-Ky has a totally new moveset and animations from X2 Robo Ky.
