...a "never trust company" feature when it comes to downloadable plug-ins for IE? I mean, there is an "always trust" so why not the reverse? I don't _want_ more Gator pop-ups thank you very much, and I'll never trust them, so why not save me the trouble? *sigh*

In Gabriel Knight 3 there's this frase: God is in the details. I'd say capitalism is in the details. They always offer you the possibililty of not installing something, so you can't say you were forced to, but while there's an option to always say "yes", there ain't an option to always say "no" because that wouldn't be profitable, since you (the costumer) can always change your mind...

oh yea, for anyone ~~stupid~~ curious enough to install those things, what exactly do they do? all i see are the words "install me!" accompanied with animated gif or flash of a cute animal

Dude, you guys need to look for Surf in Peace or any other program like it. I've got SIP and it's great. A pop-up comes up, you tell SIP about it, and you'll never see it again.
