Oh man that is some great stuff. Jet Li as Frodo...eh, I am not too sure. After seeing The One as most of his other American movies my like for Jet li has dropped. However, his Chinese movies are awesome like Fist of Legend. But Andy Lau as Aragon that would be sweet.

Yeah, Jet Li's American movies seem to be B - movie staples nowadays. I.E. Romeo Must Die - to whatever that last Seagal movie with DMX - to the recent Cradle 2 the Grave. He seems to have hooked up with a production team and decided on doing urban action films.
An Asian version of LOTR with a martial arts slant would be interesting.

CrazyMax, are you going to check out Cradle 2 the Grave when it hit theaters?
Geh - that article bothers me, as Hero came out well before LOTR the movie. but not before the book of course ;)
This isn't a real article, but more of a fantasy role or "what if" kind of issue.

I can smell it... Fake is in the air...
I DO hope I am wrong it but...All i can see in that scan are some LOTR cosplay and lots...lots of photoshop :D

as far as jet li's american movies, kiss of the dragon was my favorite. cradle to the grave will be worth watching just for JET LI vs MARK DACASCOS (only the strong, brotherhood of the wolf) - that's a dream match I've been waiting on for years.
as a whole I like their casting for their *ahem* fake LotR. except for gong li. I hate gong li.
