Range Murata's always been a favorite of mine, since a long time ago he's always been better then Shinkiro at drawing characters with real life shadings...

Superb ^_^ I prefer the childish style you can see in the images I linked but that scan is really breathtaking.
I apologize for my ignorance but don't know who is Shinkiro :/

Shinkirou is one of SNK's original and longtime artists. He's done promotional artwork for them for, I think 8 years or so. He "jumped ship" in 2000 (KOF 2000 being his last job for them, and Capcom vs SNK 2 being his last work of the SNK characters), and now does work for Capcom.

Very nice. Some of the images remind me of the art style used in Serial Experiments Lain and Haibane Renmei.

Range Murata ROCKS. He's one of my favorite artists. He also did the character designs for Blue Sub No.6, as well as Wachenroder and Purikura Daisakusen.

The art for those series (along with NieA_7) was done by Yoshitoshi ABe, who was influenced heavily by Range Murata. ABe's art is great as well, and he's another of my favorites. His illustrations are usually a bit rougher around the edges than Murata's and have a very unique style (which seems to be getting more unique as time goes on...see Lain->NieA->Haibane).
Tsukasa Jun is another artist whose style is similar to Murata's, which is fitting because they're good friends. :) (Tsukasa did the art for many Psikyo games - the name Koyori may ring a bell). I love Tsukasa's female characters...they're very..ah..well-proportioned. :)

I find Tsukasa's lesser to my tastes then Ranges. They're...ah....too...well-proportioned. Yeah. Well, I still like him as one of the better artists out there.
Maybe it has changed, It has been years since I looked at Tsukasa's art. Maybe I should sought his out sometime.
