Just played the demo for Zone of the Enders: The 2nd Runner, in the Official Playstation Mag. The visuals cool as hell, the cutscenes are like MGS meets anime, and the gameplay works well.
Was impressed by the length & story including the demo. If you've been a bit curious about the game, might be worth checking it out.

This one cleaned up in Famitsu, 33 out of 40 for the Gold award. Of course, I don't go by Famitsu but I think this one is obviously above and beyond the first. Should be one of the better games this year. Can't wait to get my demo!

Heh, the appearence of the Vic Vyper alone is enough to have me excited. That thing BETTER be playable...
Seriously though, ZOE2 is looking really good to me. They've already more than doubled the number of normal enemies in the game, and the whinny kid has grown up a bit, so I'm hopeful. All that remains now is to see if they give us more than half a game this time around...

oo I hated the first one so much, yet after watching the demo , DAM it look and feel so good! one of the best games for this year for SURE! awsome awsome awsome!

Vic Vyper could take on all enemies on Zone of the enders, times 10. So why bother let these rookies fight Anubis when Vic Vyper can just destroy everyone and go through Anubis' core!

Apparently, there's going to be a mini-game where you pilot it, and it plays just like a Graduis game.
Wow! After looking at this, the demo gives no you idea of the sweetness awaiting. I love the look of the whole thing. I truly hope the battles don't get repititive.
This, and sometime later Virtual Marz is on the way. Playing MA till ZOE: 2nd Runner comes out, and Murakomo on the way as well in March. Good time to a mech/videogame fan.
