Yeah, I knew about the PS 2 game, and it occurred to me the arcade game is probably the same ( which is why I removed it from my list )

Edit: Whoa, scratch that, this one came out in 1989.

Well all I can add on this game is this:
cast was really varied, a korean, guy a 70's man, an alien looking fighter, chinese assasin,boxer, pirate, a nunchaku haired girls......
this game got some bonus stage where you'll fight strange things.
-1 an armor
-2 a shark (!!)
- an eagle
and the fighting system is close to SF alpha series the inovatiob is a special counter,(forget the name) that break the combo of your oponent an give you 3 power bar (full) but only once per fight.(2 round)
