looks kinda silly imo. like Jet Set Paperboy or something. but maybe i'm just one of them idiot purists you hear about. maybe the game's fun. who knows

i wonder how good the music will be, as those were some of its greatest points on the earlier Jet Set titles

Yeah, there was a thread on the new Sega GBA titles a while ago. This looks kinda bleh, considering it takes away the game's awesome visual style and it's not gonna have the awesome music from either game, but... it could be fun. Tony Hawk was hard in this perspective, I can't imagine how hard precise tagging would be.

Of course, it doesn't look as bad as Crazy Taxi or Space Channel 5 for GBA. Gah. Ugly games.

Considering it's Vicarious Entertainment (who made that brilliant GBA port of Tony Hawk 2), I have no worries regarding Jet Set. I'm sure they'll keep the fun factor and playability of the original.

Agreed. All of their THPS GBA games, 1-4 are incredible. If you have any doubts about them doing a good job with this, pick one of those up and try it yourself.

Fun games, yes... good as the originals? Not quite. The perspective made some levels VERY difficult to play. Not unplayable, just.. tricky. If JSR is designed to work around that, it could be good. But try imagine tagging in the GBA THPS2. It just seems crazy to be precise with that viewpoint, moving quickly on a target.

I can't help but be a little pessimistic. But I'm curious to see the final product when it's out, yeah.

Um...ugh. That ain't JSR. I know I sound like a pessimist, but that just doesn't remind me of JSR in the slightest.

However, I do recognize the areas in the pictures. It looks like an isometric version of the first game.
