I heard in OPM that the offical title for the new FFI+II compilation will becalled Final Fantasy Origins.

I wasn't sure (since I don't have PSM), and wanted to be sure myself, low and behold THIS is proof, it's the offical US Trademark.

Looks like iut's the next line of 2 disc compilations from Square, now all we need is a release date.

I really don't know what's with Square's US naming of their collections. Bundling Chrono Trigger with a Final Fantasy game was weird as it was, but... Final Fantasy Origins? Is "Final Fantasy I & II" too descriptive? It just seems silly to me, trying to make it sound fancy.

It's good that we're at least getting them, though. Square would have to be crazy not to release them, though, it's guaranteed money.

WTF? these names, they really do suck. But your right, as long as we get them. I myself will most likely get them when they come out........any word on when exactly?

I think it would confuse the common joe consumer who knows only FF7-10 to call it "Final Fantasy 1 and 2", that or they would think since its 1 and 2 it must suck so I won't buy it ^_^

Had they brought it to occident in its time from the beginning, this wouldn't have happened. Now they suffer for good sellings and we suffer the consequencies. @#*&%!
