easy smash him!
Will try do do the "auto-combo thing the mosy of thei time and try thing like this:
auto-combo/stage damage/ juggle with auto-combo/ stage damage/ juggle autocombo/ duplex combo.
that should damage him seriously but never forgtet that after 2 stage damage it breaks, so you've to do the same in the opposite corner.

1) How is the Team Duplex Attack properly timed?

Execute the move just when the opponent is in the middle of your pair. Like equal distance from both your characters.

2) How do you fairly beat Johanne?

Just keep beating him. Don't allow him to store gauges as he will use them to counter you when he blocks. If you stand right in front of him when he does his "Pillar of Power" move, you wouldn't get hit. If you miss a combo or he blocks your hits, prepare to block low as he will do his low sweep.

3) Who's your best/favorite pair?

I'm still mastering the Team Duplex attack. I'm very new to the game. And I've been playing it on and off for a while now since it arrived in my arcades a few months ago. I like the game.

Johann is really hard! I haven't beat him yet. Although I did come close with Jimmy,I think it was.

It's an average fighter, and a good " first try " for Evoga. Here's to hoping the sequel will be more fine-tuned.

Anyway, my favorite team is Pepe and Pupa, of course.

Depends on who you talk to. Some totally hate it, most find it average, some really like it. I'm somewhere in-between average and really like it. The gameplay is nice, if not unrefined, the characters for the most part are good (Oni = Yashiro in a body suit), the music is fantastic, the backrounds are awesome, and the art is superb.

As far as being the first in a fighting game series, its 3rd in my view, behind Last Blade 1 and Guilty Gear.

Been playing it for a week or so... no one's brave enough to sit at the machine, so I have it all to myself. Pepe and Pupa are cool, too.

Do it just when the incomming character stops; tough I'd say that it's easier to time it with the height of the bashed character.

Figthing fare and squre: no chance.
With luck: many times.
With cheap tricks: oftenly.
The trick is give a jab or any fast recovery move and then roll foward; Johann is so agressive that he can stay still and most likely will launch an attack; in mid screen is hard to get the trick; but if Johann is in the corner he is done for.
