wellllll...they're also obnoxious >_< and their news can usually be found on yahoo's game industry news section with great ease.
ah...I very much doubt it will happen, but it's not out of the realm of possibility.
But to be honest, I think it would lower the general quality of capcom's games were they to do so. I think that sega has always been a better hardware maker and publisher than developer, as much of a sega fan as I am.
smilebit and overworks are not bad companies...I like their games. but otherwise, I'm not particularly into their current direction. Whereas with Capcom, I think about 60% of what they put out is gold, and that's a high percentage.

It's getting old now. I'm now shooting the messenger either.
I remember when the rumors used to be about games, not what company was buying what other one. But Sega and Capcom aren't merging, the truth of the matter is I'm buying both the companies. Financing this coup is a bit tricky, but I'm putting the costs down on credit cards and will pay off the interest by publishing games that will amuse me and, hopefully, captivate the attention of the rest of the world as well. Look for Monkey Ball vs Moby Dick and the Dan Hibiki dating sim to be on the shelves this summer.
