I just connected the exit of my Playstation to the line in of my SB Live Value card, and I get the sound correctly on my pc, thanks Mozex for the help.

Now with another question, any freeware/shareware that I can use to record save the sound on wav/mp3? I just want to cut and record it, and to be able to lower the volume at the end for the looped themes. I have a recording soft included with the card package, but no idea about how making it recognize the source, I don't think there's a way.

Thanks a lot.

It is my understanding that the easiest method is to save it as wav with the default windows tools & then use software to change it to mp3.

Monkey told you that.

Creative packages a really nice sound recorder with the Live software. It lets you pick any audio channel (inputs and outputs) to record from and you can also crop/cut/paste parts of the sound. Unfortunately I can't remember the name of this program and it's not installed on my computer right now. (there should be a shortcut under creative in the start menu).

Microsoft's soundrecorder prog->acc.->entertainment. Lets you record, but only up to 60 seconds and it's much more difficult to change recording source.

You might want to try Goldwave or ProTools Free. Both of those are free.

I found Kagami's sword in a junk yard.
I also provide nothing useful to the gaming community.
