well, the other anime thread gave me an idea. it's not much of a poll but ..
can you think of any animes that really made you wet your pants?

forgot to answer the question myself. i've only seen an episode and a half of the anime, but i swear i laughed for a full 20 or so minutes watching the first episode of Golden Boy

If you guys get a chance to see it One Piece is by far one of the funniest animes (chibi Buggy show , ep 47-50).^_^
Also Ultimate Muscle isn't to bad ..LOL

My favorite Funny Anime are...

Excel Saga - Pure Nutzoid comedy. Thanks to it I can never look at Sailor Moon or bowling in the same way.

Kodoma no Omocha - Shoujo love comedy at hyper speed. Watching Sana talk can wear you out, but is super funny.

Dragon Half - The ending song best describes this comedy, as it's a Bethoven Symphony with lyrics about...and Omlette added to it...:)

Slayers Great (I think) - While Slayers is funny all around, I found the third movie to be the best all around comedy. Slow build up, but the pay off is worth it (Especially if your into Kaijuu movies...:)

Azumanga Daioh - Some truly great comedy moments in this series, with my favorite being when Osaka tries to wake Yukari-sensei up. I had to pause the episode because I was laughing too much...

Galacxy Angels.
Wahahahha.. its very humourous and stuPid. Alot of comical stuff inside really makes no sense.. but thats why it's funny!!~

Vandread series
Man, i love this one. The comical scenes r great (Any part with Pyoro in it and i luff like a madman) and it packs sOme of the best plot & storyline i ever see in an anime. I WAN THE DVD CollectiOn ARGGGhhhh!!~~

The frog episode. Its out of this world..(Juz imagine CID turned into a frog and you are all set)

- Slayers. One of my favourite series, have both epic and laughs. Everyone has their own share of fun/stupidities, but the best ones should be Martina, Zeross and Amelia (Justice! ^_^).

- Ranma 1/2. And I don't need to write anything else.

- Dragon ball, until the 2nd tournament. The fight of Krilin vs Bacteria, the great villian Pilaf...

- Golden Boy. Aaahh... the toilet cleaning scenes...

Mini Ah Megamisama (or whatever it's called) is pretty funny.

I'm apparently an idiot since I think I was the only person who watched that Mon Colle Knights show on Fox about half a year ago. That show was so (intentionally) stupid I couldn't help but be amused.

I would have to go with

-Golden Boy: This is pure comedy genius, I love the animation episode.

-Sexy Comando Masaru

-The first 70 or so episodes of Dragonball which is the Baba warrior's part. After that the comedy kinda took a downturn.

Amen to Goldenboy.

Past that, things that make me laugh consistently (lots of repeats):

Excel Saga - Episode 1 and all appearances of Nabeshin.

GTO - Is Onizuka's seiyuu the same fella who does Yashiro? They sound similar now that I think about it.

Chii trying to buy panties in Chobits. ("Pantsu Pantsu Pantsu...")

Slayers TV - Character in-fighting mostly. Gourry is stupid, Lina is flat, Amelia is a justice nut... all guaranteed laughs (for me, anyway).

Trigun - First half of the show. (Rest is good, just more serious)

Pretty much anything Daichi has done (Kodomo no Omocha, Jubei-chan, Elf Princess Rane)

I'm sure there's more, but I have a cold and my brain's not working at full capacity.

A lot of series that already have been mentioned here and Crayon Shin Chan, which BTW has become kind of an anime revolution here in Spain (concretamente Cataluña, País Vasco, Galicia, Madrid y Valencia. No se si habra llegao alli abajo TM...). Like Dragon Ball or Akira in their moment.

PS: Has anybody a pic of Himawari? it could be fine for an avatar
