quote: really ? cool !!! Who's on it ? I hope that it will be a CYS poster ! [^_^] PS : What's the "moomins" guard ?
Don't be happy now ; last mounth, we had one of the best drawing Hiroaki ever made but it was only the cover, and this time, we have a poster, so it will be Yamazaki and Heavy D! drawned by a drunk Nona. The mu-mingu ( I never figured out what the katakana refered to) guard is the fact to use parrying, or best, just defense, to guard something you shouldn't be able to guard (because you're doing another move with a huge recovery time). The example was with Sagat missing a tiger uppercut and the opponent was going to counter attack. If Sagat guarded normally, he would be hit while recovering from the Tiger Uppercut and wouldn't be able to guard but with the just defense, he would be able to guard a few frames earlier and so be safe (it didn't work as well with the parrying, but I don't remember why...). As always, the article was very precise and of very, very limited use for someone like me ("with this extraordinary technique, you will be able to guard moves 3 frames earlier than you should normally do!! that's going to change the way people play this game!!")
