Does it reveal something about our society that when there is a tool available for making your own fighting games, no one makes an original one?

I would like to see an original game with original characters made on Mugen. I've been asking periodically the question has anyone ever made an original game not using other people's work for Mugen for a few years on various BBSes, and occasionally looked on search engines. I didn't search super hard, but as far as I know no one has made a complete original game for Mugen. Every game I've seen for Mugen was just a hodgepodge of various people's sprite rips of various games. If anyone knows a link to a complete Mugen game that's all original please share. The closest I've seen is one or two original characters, then a bunch of characters ripped from other games. I don't think anyone has made an all original Mugen game, which I find weird.
