Phew! This past week has been busy, with preparing for and taking tests, completing big projects and homework, and organizing my anime club's Bad Dub / MST3K / Sushi Night [which was a success! After the fun showing, thanks to previously winning a gift certificate at a Halloween costume contest at the sushi restaurant, I could offer a hefty discount to the 20-odd members who came. Everyone was happy, and I drank sake to my heart's content to celebrate ^_^]. And now, coming back to the Cafe, I find that there's been a lot of news and discussion, a lot of art (including more animation by Yogatori), and the first update in three weeks by the Professor on the main page, concerning the Square Enix deal. So a lot's happened just in this past week.
But, now that I'm back, I'm finally able to make my Post #300! I know it's not much compared to other folks about to make, say, the Post #3000 (or, with TalbainEric, who's just passed Post #4500) -- but for some reason, Post #300 seems like a good marker. So...
I'd just like to say thanks everyone for making the experience here at the Cafe wonderful and memorable so far. I've met great people, and had great conversations here. It seems to be a truly original place, in which at one point we'll be raving about and discussing certain games, then ranting in a good manner about certain societal actions, then discussing and sharing our art and others' art. ^_^ A lot of which I've enjoyed observing... this place is certainly a good way to find a lot of original stuff -- 2D art, animations, costumes [even if wonderfully weird at times ^_^], even fan games! (Gojira, I'm still going through your Special Project X bit by bit!) And, well -- though I can't really present new projects all that often (costumes take time and money, two things I'm not in hefty supply of), it's cool to see that there's a good place to share it. There's certainly something about this place that really makes it original and enjoyable.
So, everyone who just joined or joined recently -- welcome to the Cafe! Hope you do like it here. ^_^
Now, I'll want to get a lot of stuff done before I head out for the Thanksgiving break, probably including getting in few rounds of Cool Cool Toon, which I haven't had a chance to do in a while. So, take care, folks! And, again -- thanks for everything so far!

Heh -- 700! Congrats! (Man, I haven't been posting all that much -- but I don't know how much that can change...)
And, cool to see someone else enjoys Cool Cool Toon! Several things I like about it -- the music, the character designs, the personalities, etc. One of the things I really like about it, though, is that it can be played with the Maracas Controller. It's a bit awkward navigating menus, but that it's programmed to work with it -- quite cool. Given that I like doing some sort of rhythmic motion when playing a rhythm game -- at least tapping my foot -- Maracas Controller compatibility is a welcome extra.
