Crap, I thought I could just ignore Rygar, but now that IGN gave it a 8.4 and made it sound so fucking nice in their review I'm flustered. It sounds like a cross between Devil May Cry and Castlevania, and it looks so good, and I loved the original Rygar... great, just another game I have to buy. That brings the total up to about 5... and I've already bought 4 in the past couple of months! Where did all the sucky, disappointing games go off to?! My wallet is getting low on HP!

So, anyone played it? Is it as good as IGN made it sound or can I go back to ignoring it?

Psht! I know the feeling! SO MUCH GOOD GAMES!

I heard Rygar is one of the scariest and freakist games of all time. According to the San Francisco examiner.

"Rygar... not as good as Dr. Muto!" , posted Sat 23 Nov 07:12post reply

Gamers.com gave it a 9.

IGN is so inconsistent with reviews... they gave Dr. Muto a 8.5, so it's actually a better game than Rygar!

I'm not saying they didn't give Rygar a fair score, they really scrutinized it, but they tend to gloss over the problems in most titles.

I guess Doug Perry had an extra bowl of oatmeal before he wrote this one.
