you should too.

SO SICK! AIEEE!

Took a while to get used to all the scanning, and the controls weren't all that intuitive at the start, but now i miss it when i don't have to scan, and the controls are second nature.

I read somewhere that the PAL version release has been pushed to March.

The soundtrack is available on Usenet at alt.binaries.sounds.mp3.video-games. Now if only I knew how to use newsgroups...

Believe me, if I knew how to use newsgroups and that link in general, I'd be spreading the love all over. Unfortunately, I haven't the foggiest idea, and I'm hoping someone that does will come along and help, or upload it somewhere that we, the http and ftp users of the world, can grab it from.

...it has become a shooter?

That's what mostly intrigues me: has it become "only" a FPS? Or it still has the platforming, the non-linear enormous map, the hidden missile and bomb supplies, the super jump, the jumping in walls ability, the secret combinations of Samus' beams, weapons and accessories, etc.?

Please, tell me it's the second one...

The only thing that metroid prime takes from being an fps is being in the first person view. But the jumping actually works and the shooting of things well you dont aim you got teh lock on so you can manuver and stuff.

This game would have made the perfect Xmas holiday treat, yet Nintendo of Europe has pushed it back. Life is cruel.
But of course, Samus isn't as sexy as Clark.

One thing that i don't like about the game, and thankfully you can turn it off, is the Hint System. It acts like Navi in Zelda, telling you the next place you have to go, but i feel that it detracts from the whole metroid experience.

But yeah, this game is pretty much the only way a first-person metroid could work. Very, very pleased with it. And yes, there are lots of hidden missle expansions and health upgrades. However, i've found a lot of the missle expansions for such little progress in the game. I'm at about 30%, and i can carry 70 missles already!

The space boots are sweet!

The wave beam (just got it) is great as well.

At least, you can play as Clark... I, on the other hand, can neither play as Itonoko nor as the person who whips him to death....TT____TT
(I need a Gyakuten Saiban date game)

How does the game goes?? Is it a symple FPS or did it plays like the old metroid in FPS view?

I mean did the research part is still big, and can we be lost in the level?
Is there some bosses just to and the level or did they can be anywhere??

Plays like the old Metroid in FPS view in virtually every way. Its hard to even call it an FPS at all. Its first person, and there's shooting, but its not a first person shooter by any means.
