No, not a manga

They're named MAPP (I guess, from the page) and, according to another page where I read it (I know no japanese), they're designed by Shirow.

Question is: are they really comfortable/useful?

Those do look cool, although they appear to be very uncomfortable.

Woooph, coolish but definitely look like they'd hurt the hand. I wonder if any of the impossibly defined and smooth character designs (especially of women) of his come out in the feeling and designs of those mice/mouses. If they have a back/forward button like my invaluable Intellimouse, I'm there.

It looks like the first 3 are designed by Shirow, and the second 3 are by whoever did the mecha designs for Gundam 0083

(I cheated and used Babelfish because I wanted to see if they're compatible with OSX)
