Well it seems that many SF3 player are skilled on this board, so here is what I need:
Technics for: Twelve, Hugo, Oro, Dudley, Akuma, Necro, Urien, Yang, Makoto, Ibuki.

And the most nedeed tactics against Elena and Chun-li player.
Elena seems IMO a little overpowered, she got a stupid healing moves and all a her special seems the hit anyway, I mean never a double shock, and she's quick with a very got range so.....

You can find many good faqs on GF or on any SF site.
'N You can learn a lot of things by watchin' the exhibitions or matchs vids >>> http://www.thelemmings.net/news.php
IMHO the tactics advices are a little bit useless, because nobody play on the same way ...

Go to gamefaqs, and download some faqs, that's the best advice I can give to you. However, don't download the first one you see, there are many pieces of shit, like all the ones by JChristopher, and many others. I would reccomend to you this ones:

Urien: FIRST JRodgers one, then when you use Urien well, read SlimX one, it has many advanced tactics.

Yang, Makoto and Ibuki: Pick the faqs made by Arlieth and LEARN them. They're very good.

If you have any specific questions about Remy, Makoto, Ken, Yun, Urien and maybe others, I'll gladly reply if I can.

The only thing I know for sure : for Twelve, play a hit and away technique and wait for the time over.

It's strange... most of my friends think the contrary about Elena (that she's just an underpowered Chun li). They are both lethal if you let them take the offencive edge (and with Twelve.... ouch)

On the contrary, Elena is one of the weakest characters in the game (though the game is fairly balanced at the end of the day). As several folks have already mentioned, GameFAQs is a pretty good resource for these types of things.

In general, though, the best advice I can give is to learn the parry timing for her specials. All of them have ridiculous lag afterwards, leaving her open for any kind of punishment you choose to dish out. Other than that, you just have to learn to recognize the opening frames for her different normals since she has a lot of overheads and can play some fairly mean mix-up games.

As for Chun, you're on your own. :) She's like a big walking glitch in that game. (not to mention SA II does WAY too much damage and is WAY too easy to combo)

Good luck, though. 3rd Strike is a ton of fun when you dig a little deeper and encounter some of the vastly different playing styles.

honestly, elena is a tad bit far from being overpowered, the main thing that she has going for her are her annoying pokes, and some range with a few of her basic attacks, other than that she doesnt have a whole lot going for her, and her healing super isnt exactly...umm...."good"

as for twelve, i think his air game is unbeaten, though that doesnt exactly help him much, it would be so much better if his attacks had slightly higher priority, anyways, its good to use his qcb+p move, especially with jump-ins, or when your just trying to keep your opponent away, get the hang of his air dash too, it could help him a lot, and helps with mind games too, a good thing to learn with the air dash, is the "quick" air dash, its your typical ground dash, but us up+forward instead of just forward, he should glide quite close to the ground, its easpecially good if you like to play more on the aggressive side, hmm, what else is there with twelve....his roundhouse has good range, somewhat good in keeping your opponents a fair distance away while on ground, but the start up is unfortunately quite slow....oh yea, about his dash again, if you get into the habit of air dashing quite a bit, be sure to, everyonce and awhile dash backwards into a wall then back out, and do whatever from there, well just keep in mind that you're able to do that, it helps to catch your opponent off guard...anyways, i think i typed too much, im gonna stop here =p

adios
