Or did they already made tuna of this cat??... Nevermind...
Such a pity, it is my understanding that Napster products were well recieved by the general public.

I used Napster before Metallica got up in front of the press in diapers and cried like babies and screwed Napster over. I switched to other programs that don't have stupid filters in them that filter out pretty much EVERY possible singer or music group...

Cool...I can own my very own pirate company! I wonder if I can win with a bid of One Dollar Canadian...:)
Anyway, as much as I dislike the RIAA, Napster did have it coming. Way to open in their business, and little legal ground to back them up....(Sad, cause some hard to find music was best served by the Napster community).

Napster is no big loss, it didn't even have a resume feature, however I am still pissed at the RIAA for taking down Audiogalaxy. Audiogalaxy did a respectable job of trying to block bubblegum Britney Spears and Limp Bizkit pop crap (apparently the RIAA disagreed) and it was a great outlet for rare and underground music, but now its gone, all gone :(

I, too, am stil upset about this. My favorite source for rarities and b-sides I would have otherwise never seen or heard of was AG and I've yet to find a comparable resource such as this...

yeah going after audiogalaxy was a REALLY LOW blow by the RIAA, and it was bad for people who liked real music, not that pre-processed shit the industry makes. i would have rather they shut down every music trader but audiogalaxy, it had some of the best, hardest to find music ever, and a lot of good videogame music was on it too.
