The shiloutte on the left looks like Yomiko though, so it seems that its not Shin R.O.D(Read or Dream) that they're animating! Yay.
I wonder if ROD can work as a TV anime tho...
Yeah! I've been wanting ROD to come out here in the States for a long time now. I like the Joker. Seems like a player. Yokimo and her power to control paper is just uber-cool. I'm amazed there isn't much fanservice in this anime.

Well, after seeing this and looking at the silhouettes, I think it is Read or Dream.
We'll have to wait and see though.

I'd prefer it to be R.O.Die, but I'm always happy to see more interesting new anime :)
And talking about R.O.D, how many characters are based on actual historical figures? The ones that I think of are:
