This is a good point.
I'm editing this post to make it more clear and so it doesn't risk sounding like that my position is pro-'trolling', for trolling is basically 'spam'. Sense there are many sensitive posters here and the moderator rarely reads posts - mmcafe.com/bbs.html is for trollers like an untapped paradise, where it would be easy to do things like start lots of flame threads.

The 'posting climate' of mmcafe is such that one is not allowed to have an opinion unless its praise, and one is not supposed to bring up the slightest thing that could result in arguing.
We could have more interesting and deeper discussion if people could handle it better if someone else had a a dferent opinion then they did, or if someone disagreed or had a criticism of a game. (And of course senseless attacking on either side shouldn't become necessary.)

I edited the above post to try and be a bit clearer.

Not always, but for example a lot of times I have posted something like that I didn't like some aspect of some game, and I think people take it as a personal insult and there's a near-flame thread that follows (but usually gets defused eventually). Like I might say something like "Tomb Raider should use a wider variety of gameplay" and given the reactions its like some people read that as "your an idiot because you like Tomb Raider"

I agree, that people should talk without being idiots or throwing insults.
