They wouldn't be "changes", then, right? ^_^; All that new stuff that made it in the US version and in "Kingdom Hearts Final Mix" wasn't coded yet when the original version was released... Sure, they could have delayed the release to make a better/more complete game, but hey... eventually, the game has to be released. ^^; Sure, it shouldn't become an excuse for those guys to release incomplete games, but did "Kingdom Hearts" really feel incomplete? Should we really blame Square for releasing a new version with new stuff, months later? In a way, we're given a choice: do we want that new stuff or not?

2 things puzzle me : first, (maybe I am wrong on this point) the japanese "international" versions of FFX and KH have american voices and Japanese subtitles. In other way, even if now, years after FFX has been released, I want to play it, I will have to play the non-complete version because I want japanese voices. The other thing is that, when games like FF7 international came in Japan, it was actually released as the 2800 yen economic package (ie : you buy the game one year later, you buy it at a small price but new, non-second hand, and you have new stuffs in it). And if you had the first game and absolutely wanted the second, it wasn't that expensive. But now, KH final seems to be the price of a normal new game.... So the next time I will buy a square product, (ie Unlimited SaGa) I will think twice : should I buy it now or in one year with all the new stuff, scenario, items, cut scenes, character they will add? I wonder if This game will have an international version as well.

I agree with you on the DVD thing but you should know that New Line Cinema had announced many many many months ago that there would be 2 DVD sets for the Lord of the Rings. The one they started to sell in August was the 'regular' edition with extras. And the one being sold in November is the "hardcore fan" edition with other extras. Its stupid/silly to have to sets, but on the other hand you can justify it by saying, "we should have two sets because if we have one set, then that one will cost a lot more and maybe the average fan will not care for the extra stuff, let the hardcore fan buy both if they are really hardcore." I hate it, its just about squeezing more money out of you. I'm sure when all three movies have been released there will be a super duper special edition with all three movies.
Back on the topic of video games. What Square, Namco and some computer game companies do with "re-mixed" games is just bad. Like another person said, it kills confidence and its a blatant grab for money. Remember when Capcom did all those different versions of RE for the PSX. Same junk. This really burns the fans and makes things worse in the long term. People will more likely pirate or not buy cause they don't trust the companies any more.
Other companies should be praised though. A few companies sell special editions of their products, but they sell them simultaneously so that there is no future surprises. Perfect example is Warcraft 3. You could buy the regular or special edition on the day of release. Some games give you bonuses if you pre-order. Good stuff, but not any of these final remix crap that Square and Namco put out.
I can understand if you pay a small fee for some extra add-ons like expansion games for the PC. But full retail price on some few extras. Give me a break and shame on yourself.

OK here is some precision about the International of FFX. 1st Iggy FF int didn't got english voice on japanese subtittle, you just got an option that turn you the game in full japanese( voice , text, item, submenu....) or in full English (same as before) so with this little nihongo/Igo choice at the biginning you got the normal japanese or Us version. the only mix you can do is the sphere board that you can choose to but for exemple I play with the japanese board on a english version.....
I bet the KHFM will work as the same a full japanese or a full english version.
I think so kind of thing start with FF7 when US version have two hidden boss more peoples in japanese have scream for it to so a japanese version with to boss more. FF7 have 2 boss more FF8 have 3 summon more than US and Europe FF9 nothing as I know FFX 9 boss more and some items a new grid KHFM 3 boss of the US ver +1 new boss new scene, new skill, new item, and a new camera system.
It seems that only big licence got it FF9, chrono cross, the bouncer, did got those so I didn't think that "Unlimited Saga final bonus remake" will be done. just the normal versoion.

Ben, c'est bien ce qu'il me semblait, mais vu ce que tu en dis... ^^;

Ca me semble surréaliste, comme question ^^

Oui, mais Naruto, moi... ^^;
