I'm not going to confirm it. Don't ask me for proof- find it yourself. It's not the 63mb-fake, it's real.

As do I. ;D

On a similar note, Neo-0 is planning to dump the bootlegged roms (not the ones from the real KOF 2002 cart) once enough donations are attained to get the bootlegged cart and Manson recieves it.

Believe it or not, this will actually benefit Playmore, since it will prevent bootleggers from making money off of illegal copies of KOF 2002.

Jason to friends: blah blah blah, don't burn dreamcast games. you're hurting the market and insuring that sega goes down because of your stinginess.

blah blah blah, don't download anime that's already been picked up by an american distrinutor, you're just insuring that more of the same will never make it out here.

Internet to Jason: pst, hey kid, another one of them neogeo fighting games has been dumped . . . you know you wanna.

Jason: *twitch*

Internet: 'cmon, you'll buy it when it comes out for one of the consoles you own.

Jason: Bu . . but what about all those . . .

Internet: Just take the damn game!

Jason: . . . yes sir.

Why must it be so hard to resist?

No the KOF 2k2 dump isn't released to the public... and actually this ROTD dump isn't the one that was dumped by bootleggers months ago, but it was dumped from a bootleg cart recently.

That's a good point. What's sad though is that it'll probably still help Playmore/Evoga more in the long run, since they generally lose a lot more money off bootlegs in Asia and South America, instead of American bootlegs (e.g. the ones NGF do).

And Jason, whether or not you download the roms has absolutely no effect on anything at all. If you choose not to because you have an arcade/college/whatever getting it soon, then I understand that, but otherwise its irrelevant.

I guess your saying that Playmore should hurry up and switch to NAOMI while nobody has cracked it yet. Either that or do something brand new.

Not really, you'd need a pretty hefty system to be able to emulate Naomi. Currently a 1 ghz computer can't even run a Saturn game at full speed... encryption or not, Naomi/DC emulation won't be a reality for a very long time. Same goes for PS2. I'd expect to see a Cps3 emulator way before Naomi.

It's real, already works in a custom build of Mame or in Nebula with a dat file.

Ok, i hope no one kills me for asking this harmless question. I had finally found the file. But i couldnt get it to work in Nebula. Kept jamming in the middle of loading with a msg tt says the neogeo bios (neo-geo.rom ng-lo.rom ng-sfix.rom) isnt found when i already had those files in the zip. Am i missing something o_O?? B4 anyone starts to curse and swear at me, i've already spent almost 20bucks on tt game alone in the arcade and had decided to purchase the cart or the console version IF it is even planned in the near future.

yes, if they want to survive, and after reading the post under yours, and seeing how fast it spread they'd better or they will tank, this game was encrypted at 32 bits, and was dumped fast as hell I'm sure kof2k2 is out there if u search google long enough. this isn't beneficial to them at all. who knows how many bootlegged carts there are.
