What did Speksnk do, pirate images? roms?
Usually they send a threating lawer letter first, giving the place an opportunity to stop, and then comes the harder sease and desist. .

What did NGF do that Evoga would care about?

If you are talking about how they shredded original inserts and sold games with copied ones, I fear there is nothing playmore (or anybody else for that matter) could do because they bought the rights, to do what ever they want with the game, with the purchase of the game itself.

This was from a few months ago. I don't have any information specifically on re-using carts to put differnt roms on.

I can think of one actuall example of this type of thing that I've read about though. When SNK USA was going out of business, SNK recalled the USA stock of NeoGeo Pocket games, and were going to reuse the flash roms to put Japanese games on.

Did SNK / Playmore say anything to you / neo-geo.com in response to receiving the NGFUSA KoF 2000 cart with alternate insert? I'm just currious, maybe they just sent you a thank you note for notifying them, or that they were going to persue the matter legally.

And do you know where I could buy marquees/ movelist cards that are displayed on NeoGeo arcade machines?

The roms are gone & they say that the will only use legal & confirmed info, they have also stated that they will not speak anymore about Evoga or any of it's products.

After all, the source of the problem was the "publicity" that Speksnk has given to Bootleg versions (spek info and details of how it was done), thus avoiding the subject they seemed to have controled the problem....
