Hey everyone!

Today I went out and bought a Nintendo GameCube bundle with Mario Sunshine and the Memory Card 59. For $190.

I'm taking suggestions on what to get for my birthday (which is the 5th of next month), so I'm gonna say about 2 or 3 games total I'll probably get.

So far I only have 1 controller but my best friend has 5 so I think he'll let me borrow one.

So far I'm thinking about getting Resident Evil and Resident Evil 0.

Can you guys give me some suggestions on other possible good games already available or others you think I should wait for.

If you ever enjoyed any RE a little bit, picking REmake will be the best idea. The game is great, very different from the original, durable, and hard enough. A marvel.

(I've just finished it with Jill, and maybe I'm a bit hyped...)

hmm..the price is good..I'm still saving for ps2 though..
If I had a GC I'd go for Resi too..other than that I would definitely get Ikaruga(unless you already have on DC..)There's still Zelda and Metroid of course..I don't know release dates but they would be stupid
not to release them before xmas..

Don't forget Beach Spikers! It may not be the same as DOAX Volleyball, but hot chicks playing volleyball is a plus.

you are not hyped at all RE and RE0 are so great games.
other than these:
Enternal darkness is good.
for multiplayer fun:
Super smash brothers Melee
Mario Party 4
puzzels:
Super monkey ball 2 (everyone LOVES this game)
Action/RPG:
star fox adventure .
mario is the best game on the GC I enjoyed every single second if it, so play hard.

Actually, I like Turok on GCN, but I'd pick Metroid over it I'm sure.

Beach Spikers is a good game, I have it.
Resident Evil, definately.
More than RE, Eternal Darkness is a must have. I find it to be scarier than even RE, it messes with your head....
Mario Sunshine is great, I'm sure you'll enjoy it.
I haven't played Zelda yet, but that's not til February. I'm sure I'll be getting it.
Super Smash Bros. Melee is great.
If you are a Star Wars fan, Rouge Squadron 2: Rogue leader is very good.
If you like wrestling, Wrestlemania X8 is good.
Super Monkey Ball, SMB2.
I'll let you know more when I think of them, I'm really tired right now.

Great suggestions guys!

I'm really liking Mario.

I think I'll get RE and RE2. Maybe wait for Metroid, too.

Eternal Darkness, huh? I'll have to try it sometime.

Yeah, I like wrestling. I think I saw WrestleMania X8 at a pawn shop for $20. Now that I'm thinking about it, I think I saw Resident Evil there to for $20. Why would someone pawn those games?

Stay away from Eternal Darkness unless you enjoy exceptionally mediocre survival horror games. For being in development for 7 years, it felt like they had only worked on it for 3 months. Add to it an asinine weapon and magic system, boring levels, killing the exact same enemies for most of the game, and a lack of a truly scary element (there's a few cheap scares, but they're cheap so they don't count).

Don't bother with Pikmin, like everyone said Smash Bros for a good multiplayer game and Res Evil for a good challenge. For a good fighter, CVS 2 if you've not got any other version already

Mystic Heroes is pretty fun, kinda like Dynasty Warriors 3.

I've got a question about the bundle, does Mario come in its own case like it would if you bought it regulary or do they do something else to it?

I feel it is far from mediocre, and think some others would agree with me. But to each his own. I would call RE scares cheap scares (nothing against it, just that the scares are from turning corners you can't see around and such) while I fell that Eternal Darkness messes with the player more than the character.

Yeah, when you get the bundle, Mario comes in the case. It has the memory card in the case with it.
