Methinks you're still on that high you get from playing a good game you've been waiting a long time for, in which in instantly becomes the best thing since sliced bread and large breasted lesbian porno. ;)

I've not played it yet (and won't until the roms are out, as the arcades here suck giant donkey verga), but from what I've heard from reviews and other people, its a good, solid game, but not quite up to MOTW's standards.

How do the teams work in this game? Is it KoF style one at a time matches, Marvel vs Capcom style switch outs, or is it something completely different?

Kizuna Encounter switchouts. Same thing as MvC switchouts, but it had them first. :P

IMO,Garou's graphics were OK. They certainly weren't the best SNK has done. Gameplay,I forgot to mention,in RoD,isn't as great as Garou's. It has flaws when performing certain moves. For example,Alice's Red Rose(or whatever it's called) super is a half circle back followed by forward command,I execute it smoothly,and it doesn't work until like the 3rd time I've done it.In Garou,there really is no flaws. But the game moves much smoother than MOTW ever did. And I'm JUST TALKING about MoTW. Not the whole Garou series in general. And there you have it!

WOW! I kicked so much butt today for my 2nd time at playing RoD today! MAN! Radel is like one of my favorite characters now! I used him and Alice! I ruled with these two. I kicked major ass! Radel's a pretty funky,but long-range character perfect for me. His roundhouse is my main weapon,followed by his DP move(forgot the name of it).

And I FINALLY got the hang of Alice's Red Rose move! You have to get them in close for the full effect! Her win pose is scary,but kawaii!

Abubo was hilarious. He walks like an ape and has a heart on his shirt. Think of a fruity Juggernaut(wait,who would want to ) He has two girl sidekicks,Linda was one of their names,forgot the other.

Johann,the last boss,isn't as annoying as Igniz or Zero,Thank God! He's got a simple design,red curly hair,and red goati,marroon/purple ensemble. He has no weapons. BUT HE'S GOT A COOL WIN POSE! He holds up his fists while a Oriental Dragon(the Black Dragon power Abubo mentions after you beat him) circle around him! Tight! One of my favorite win poses.

I finally lost with my team of Alice and Radel to him. So,I used a different one the second and third times around. Cassandra/Sonia and Cassandra/Annie. Annie's cool! I love her intro with her cat! There's this move I used against Johann where she scratches you like a cat,simliar to Felicia's punch throw. I'm gonna have to use Annie more,she's cool! Cassandra I also got the hang of. I love her Innocence move where she pummels you into the ground if you hit her! Sweet! Think of Vega's airborne throws.

A cool game! I was much better than my first time playing it! Can't wait to play it again this upcoming weekend!

Also all your impressions so far have been graphical ones, or ones concerning motions (which is superficial). I don't care if the game animates like SF3:3 and has the res of GGX... it doesn't give reason to believe that Garou is worse which I consider a very solid game.

I couldn't resist going to the mall to play RoD again after work today. I spent the most money at the arcade in a long while(5 dollars worth of quarters,on RoD and Cruisin World).

I tried out Elias more today. I'm not too good with him still. And it seems the bastard CPU rolls over my fireballs. He's got a cool win quote,but I forgot it.

Radel is so cool! I used him again today.
