But I can't say a lot about it, I've only seen the first episode, and it wasn't my cup of tea (I had the same feelings for Rave...)

I saw the first episode of this at my college's sci-fi club, it was horrible and completely turned me off from all things with the words Bandit, King, and Jing in them.

Yeah I've watched it as well and wasn't really impressed... it doesn't bring anything new to the table. The annoying talking crow doesn't help either... but it is kind of funny the big pirate guy has the same voice as Bass from DOA.
