I've talked about this last night with Whitesword. If you know the game gunspike, (thanks WS) you may have seen an art work with 4 characters.(any like will be great!)
those looks like: phobos, Vega/balrog, and Davilot.
In the back a man with Pale blue hair in a costume.

the guys looks very close to the one you can see in CAS intro, just that he got now a purple costume.

what did you think about this??

I don't think Kabuki or Cat Lady Beauty look like Phobos or Devilott, but Balrog IS definately in Gunspike ( in undead form!! Umbrella??).. And you're right, the Gunspike Guy ( Forget his name, Psyker something...) DOES look like the guy from Capcom All Stars.

Who first of all, I've never heard of this game (never kept up with DC titles)but it looks really cool. Secondly, according to what I pointed out in the other CFAS topic, Mike Haggar's intro has him talking with a guy named DEATH who "wants to play a little game of tag". Whoever that guy is, whether he's a character from this GunSpike/Cannon Spike or not. He's obviously, the final boss.

Well, you can't be certain about that, after all, Damnd wasn't the final boss in Final Fight!

Bwa ha ha, 'tis true, and he's in the intro! Maybe this new guy is actually working for somebody else ( Grand Master!! ^_^)

Sorry for sounding stupid, but I'm curious. Who's Grand Master?

Oh and you're right about the "DEATH being a lackey to some higher authority" but if that's so, we'd have to fight him sooner or later wouldn't you think? It makes perfect sense. Final boss or not.

.........that is the actual Vega! Something happened and he lost his looks and turned savage. He looks too much like Marilyn Manson.

Anyway,Kinu Nishimura drew most of the art for Cannon Spike.

The bosses were Kabuki,Fallen Vega,Cat Lady Beauty,and a couple of others I can't remember.

I hope they make another game some day. I was thrilled when I first heard it was coming out. Plus,it stars my beauty Cammy and the game is even named after one of her moves!

That IS Vega?!?! Strange... you'd think Nash or Cammy would have said something directly too him about that...

It's not really named after her move, it's called GunSpike in Japan (it was changed because guns are bad... and in all fairness CannonSpike does sound cooler)

I believe, though I'm not sure, that in the Charlie/Cammy ending, Charlie stays behind to fight Balrog.

At anyrate, story isn't exactly the center focus of this game

Actually,Charlie comes back on a chopper after Cammy thought he died in the island explosion.

Yes,Cannon Spike does sound cooler.

Yes I know the ending... Vega says to Charlie "I'm not letting you get away Charlie!" then there's an explosion...

if this is an ending achieved by Charlie alone we see his glasses washed up on shore...

if it's the pink hair woman (sorry her name escapes me) or Cammy they say something to the effect of "Oh where are you Nash?" and he swoops in on a Helicopter...

Contrary to what Steffan may list on his site, the CannonSpike endings are NOT Cammy exclusive... I've also seen Bulleta kick Arthur and Megaman out of the base in the same way she does to Cammy. (so don't think Bulleta hates Cammy or Cammy loves Nash enough to worry about his safe return...)

But anyway... my point was, aside from Vega stopping Charlie from leaving neither Street Fighter says anything to him about his former involvement with Shadowloo (law?)

which is extremely strange given Capcom's taking that Cammy comic as semi-cannon were she and Vega are rivals... you'd think Vega would at least have said something directly to her like "nice seeing you again, Killer Bee; the beautiful clone of our master" or something

It's a crazy crossover game (er...kinda) not developed by Capcom, there's no reason to expect it to make sense!

Ha! Charlie escaped death this time around!

I haven't seen those team endings yet,Dr.B. I didn't know that happened. WOW! Thanks for the info.

Supposedly Vega's just insane and won't even delve into the past.

Not only that, but who knows, maybe Balrog and Nash are at each other's throats every other day, so they don't really feel any need to bring up the old Shadoloo thing. ^_^

hmmmm... you know, those are both very good points...

at anyrate, I believe it's real Balrog now (my main disbeliefe rested in the fact his name is Balrog even in the US version... but maybe Capcom of USA didn't think to translate it because even they didn't know)

That would be cool (albeit irritating) if Psychicer Sting (sp?) is in CFAS. But, wasn't he an old man in Cannon/Gun Spike? Man, I love the boss names so much in that game it inspired me to create similar names for the bosses of one of my game ideas.
