In Marvel VS Capcom 2, the Boss Abyss it is a Capcom or a Marvel character??
I think it's from Capcom but I'm not sure.

Really? I don't read comics at all, so I suppose it's entirely possible he's from a comic. I had heard the opposite, though, that he was just flat-out made up ( although he does admittedly look like a comic book character. )

As a comic reader, I've read the Age of Apocalypse and I don't remember Abyss. I believe he is made up by Capcom.

He is a made up character, whoever designed him was probably having a acid trip. They should of made a giant Galactus as the last boss I think ^_^

As a comic reader, I've read the Age of Apocalypse and I don't remember Abyss. I believe he is made up by Capcom.
There is a character called Abyss who originates in the X-Men's Age of Apocalyse, but that Abyss does not look or resemble in any way the Abyss that is in Marvel vs. Capcom 2.

I remeber reading a FAQ somewhere that said Abyss is loosely based off the Age of Apocalypse comics. NAMELY the X-Men Omega Comic series (which I had a copy of, at one time)
It was so long ago, but I do indeed remember that the Abyss in XMO looked very similar to the first form in MvC2.
It's really a mystery though.

If you mean X-Men: Omega, the one-shot that ended the Age of Apocalypse, then, no, the Marvel Abyss does not resemeble the Capcom Abyss in any way. Here's what the Abyss looks like in X-Men: Omega/Age of Apocalypse and, come to think of it, how he later looks in the Mainstream Marvel Continuum.
