It is blatantly obvious where drug messages would be but I'm curious as to where some of the "questionable" stuff concerning Velma comes from. Note: I haven't seen the original Scooby Doo in ages so might have to "talk to me like total idiot".

I've never seen Scooby Doo, but if your asking if they do some kind of drugs then my answer would have to be hell yeah.

Just look at Shaggy. He looks like a stoner. They drive around in a big hippie van. They have "Scoobie Snacks" or "Doobie Snacks" as Jay put it. Well, if they all don't at least we know that Shaggy does.

I haven't watched Scooby Doo in ages but I think I can explain Velma's "questinablity" (by which I assume you mean everyone calling her a lesbian)

Really you have to be looking at her as a steroetype to see anything... Mainly because she doesn't look very feminine (like every other steroetype lesbian) and if you're really digging deep on more then one occations she's had to carry Shaggy and Scooby (when they get scared and leap into the air, landing in her arms)or been the one macho enough to go into a scary place when Scoob and Shag wouldn't...

Note: Although the crappy live action Scooby Doo cut scenes that implyed Velma was a lesbian, the far superior animated direct-to-video movies have made her more obviously female and given her several males to fawn over... in fact, if you consider Cartoon Network's commericals/cross-overs as cannon she's been involved with Johnny Bravo for sometime.... Scooby and Shaggy are obviously pot-heads so no one bothered to try to change that view...

Hey, at least it wasn't as bad as Master of Disguise. LOL. That is my answer to every movie now. If someone says, "Man, that movies sucked" I say "Hey, at least is wasn't as bad as Master of Disguise." (I Thought the Scooby movie was ok, but it wasn't great. And don't ever, ever see Master of Disguise, you'll be a better person for it. It was the worst movie I've ever seen in my life, and I doubt anything will top it).

Heh,the Scooby movie was weird.

DAMN! SARAH MICHELLE GELLAR IS HOT! She certainly can kick ass. The Matrix wanna-be scene toward the end was a little far-fetched.

Yes,I believe that scene was a reference to drugs.

But kids don't know no better anyway.

Please enlighten me as to how that was a drug reference.

Yeah, that's cause the movie was making fun of beliefs about the cartoon.

Hey! Master of Disguise might be hidious and a waste of time so great stappling your toung to wall of broken glass is a better way to spend 2 hours... but at least it's not "Ballistic:Ecks Vs Sever" now THAT'S a bad movie!

Is it? I'd figure Master of Disguise would be worse than that even.

I totally did not see Pamela Anderson's cameo coming in the beginning. Cool stuff.

Yes it is... Rotten Tomatoes has it with a 0% on the tomato-metter (which basically means out of 62 critics, 62 thought it sucked.... Master of Disguese has a 1%)

and if your thinking "critics are all dumbasses! They hate anything that's not a foreign art film!!!" (which I know you're not saying Wolf, that's just an segway) My friend who LOVES Lucy Liu movies (read: he likes movies she's sort of in, like Shanghai Noon, because she's in them) and Hong Kong action films thought it was terrible... and that's proof B:EvS is crap then a million critics could provide

LOL. I'll avoid it, but I'll still use my Master of Disguise comment.

OK. Lame how some people think. As far as Shaggy and Scooby:

Velma: Will you guys rescue your friends from a snarling monster by jumping over a twenty foot gap filled with lava?
Shaggy: No way!
Scooby: Ruhn uhn!
Velma: Would you do it for a Scooby Snack?
S&S: Yeah, yeah!!!

Ecks vs. Server...I find it funny that the producers wanted to make a big deal that "it isn't actually based on the game" due to the bad rep most VG based movies get.

"Harvey Birdman" is a pretty funny show and they had a pretty good Scooby Doo episode. Good clips selected from the show for "evidence" regarding substance abuse ^_^.

Good call... since saying "at least it's not Master of Disguise" is funny, since that movie THOUGHT it was going to do well (why else would it have potato chip tie in?)

B:EvS is just sad, it knows it sucks and was made to prey on the stupid... mentioning it would make people go "O_o YOU AWFUL MAN!!! WHY DO YOU SAY SUCH TERRIBLE THINGS!!!"
