Ok....so a new kof is out but since kof 98 the characters look about the same.....why not get a lesson from guilty gear and do the same in the graphics section....or at least make it as fluid as SF3 third strike...i cant imagine how dreadfull kof2002 will look on my PS2 with all of those huge pixels and low res.....god forbid....

They would need to switch hardaware... and for some reason SNK seems unable to do that... (most of their tries in games designed for non-SNK hardware weren't too sucessful, and the company isn't healthy enough to develop a new hardware now, I guess).
Also, they probably will need more than a year to program it losing the regularity.
But God I would love to see a KOF reprogrammed from scratch in a new harware.

the characters look the same on all KOFs apart from a few slightly re-drawn sprites.. KOF has a classic feel and that's the whole point of it..the sprites are the same and there should not be major overhauls..that's why there is one every year..pixel power is great!and it is a blasphemy to suggest to change the feel of KOF..DIE NOW! oh..and welcome to the cafe'..

The MVS, while a wonderfull system, is clearly showing it's age. KOF 2k2 shows that, as the limited number of characters has meant some favorite gets the shaft (King getting left out). They need to switch to newer hardware to at least escape from limitations like that and to increase animation frames (I'd like the design style to remain though...)
However I really doubt Playmore has the cash or the want to devlope a new system, or learn how to use the Naomi or Tri-Force boards...

Blasphemy is the fact that capcom doesnt have the whole rights to it!!Maybe then they would give it a proper upgrade (which it so much needs).....but i guess its the flickering pixels that give it that nice "after school" arcade look....and i like the vocabulary in it now (you can see snk's english slowly progress with the series!!!OH JOY!Yeah....i guess you are right...it wouldnt feel the same beating you withought Andys cheesy kof2001 Shoken! You seem to be forgeting the humiliation you suffered from Leona and K' in 2k1...One vs 4?is it all coming back to you?anyway,the whole cafe' doesn't need to know about your losses..and leave vaso out of this!

GENJURO!!!I have three words for you : YOU CANT ESCAPE!!!! Brings back happy memories of defeat in the hand of gouki's nemesis:ALEX......doesnt it! Dont worry though user of the unholy purple flame!We have a score to settle when we meet again....till then just use the practice mode...i dont see the odd of you losing.... at least there! I actually wonder if there is one person among the many who are reading this....that can actually defeat my on SF.....i kinda feel EVOL!!!
