Does anyone know the code for that? I've been trying to find it for days and I've managed to decode many others such as: ♠ ♡ ♣ ♤ ♥ ♦ ♧ ♨ ♩ ♪ ♫ ♬ ♭ ♯
If anyone knows of any others, tell me. You can do these things by hitting and then some numbers. o_O But I can't find the star! That's the one I really wanted!
quote: Wow! Thanks,mistress! Hopefully I can remember the code so I can start doing some.
If you're patient you won't have to. I'm actually working on a HTML document that will chart out how to do all this and more. Two complete Japanese alphabets and these things. But it's an extensive piece of work. ^_^;

In the good old days you could do every character with no more than 3 numbers. Then evil Microsoft took that feature out. Now we have to do four numbers + html code.

You know, I've never seen a book or online document anywhere that tells all the commands of html. Maybe that's why every web browser makes up it's own version of reading html.

possibly.. but I'm working on one for IE. It's, so far, rather large. But hey... I'd hate to be caught off guard when I need to know. I'll let you guys see it. But to see the Japanese characters you'll need to have the Japanese support system, of course.

You guys having fun with ascii? Anyways, you can access the whole list using Window's Character Map (start,program,accessories,system tools, character map)
Or there's tons of documentation on the web I'm sure.

You just type and then a number right after it. In an HTML setting, like a message board, you'll get the symbol rather than the numbers and .

Character map doesn't show up on my computer. So basically I'm having to chart it out. I've looked all over online for things that'd do the job for me. But I can't seem to find any. It's no big deal to me. I'll gladly go through the infinite possiblities for their codes. ^_^; I've already gone through thousands of numbers.. why stop now? LOL

EDIT: Ahhhhh I see...thanks very much mistress..! =) Initially I thought it was something like ALT+number, to get special icons like ¼ and Þ....now I understand that it can only work under HTML environment...
Ferrio: There is no character map in my Windows? How come? Mine is 98.

I don't really know... I don't have any more complaints than I did with 98. I complain about the same things every time.. but other than that, it's not that bad.

Character Map isn't installed by default anymore. You'll need to put forth the extra effort to install it.
Control Panel --> Add/Remove Programs --> "Windows Setup" tab.
It'll be listed under "System Tools". Check the box and click the "Apply" button.
