Yo folks!

Well, first the question: Does anyone have any idea of how many copies of Ikaruga for the DC are going to be released? (I.E. if we don't pick it up immediately, are we screwed with regards to getting the game?)

I haven't put down a reservation yet, being that I just now moved back to the dormitories here on campus, close to my import game supplier -- and even though I'll try pre-ordering, I'm a bit worried if it might be too late. I'm not worried about not having the chance to play the game -- most likely, the video gaming room at the Nan Desu Kan anime convention here in Colorado will have the copy for play for a few hours. But, as for owning my own copy... if I haven't pre-ordered now, am I pretty much screwed?

And, well -- again, sorry for not posting all too regularly -- I do believe I've been stricken with a variation of the MMCafe virus, but it's partly anime/game-related too -- for the next few weeks, I'll be finishing up a cosplay costume of a sorta non-mainstream game/anime character (defined here as not being from Capcom or SNK) for this year's Nan Desu Kan. I was trying to get it done for last year's NDK, but it was just too much work. I'd elaborate -- but first I'd just like to see that it comes out okay -- and I'll be getting back to work on it ASAP. And, that's pretty much all I'll say about it until it's done (which, with all my will, I will have done before the con starts, so that I can enter it into the costume contest!).

Not from what I hear. They'll initially print enough to fill pre-orders. That's the importance of pre-orders. So your pre-ordering should blag you a copy.

Yup, and not a moment too soon. I just went to my local import game provider today, and the folks there told me they would only have ten copies for certain. I asked to be signed up on the pre-order list and was ninth on that list.
