From "Gamers.com"

" It's been stated that the game will becoming to the GameCube -- worldwide -- in January 2003, courtesy of Infogrames. Additionally, the GC port is reported to have more features and modes than the straight-ported DC version due out in September.

Shooter fans have a tough choice to make. To keep your import preorder, or to wait for the enhanced GC version, which isn't quite confirmed yet? Hopefully, more concrete details will emerge soon. "

I was planning on getting the import DC version, but as you all know it's quite expensive to import. so i was thinking that if this comes true, that it would be better for me to get a GC,and wait for the domestic release of this game, which im hoping will be much cheaper, so what do you guys think?

I don't know where you buy imports, but the majority of places sell it for somewhere between 50 and 60 dollars, which is not significantly more expensive than buying the domestic version. I, personally, will be buying it on DC because:

1) I have no Gamecube and have no intention to buy one till it's cheap.

2) Why wait 6 months when you can have it NOW. :P

"Bye bye"

Is this news even reliable? I have my doubts. I remember when Bangaioh hit the N64, but then again, I never realized Treasure would port it to the DC. Maybe they will pull something like this for Ikaruga and GC. But then, I wont be comfortable with the news unless it comes from more reliable sources.

I think it's pretty reliable, the source is IGNCube, and I usually trust the news there, even though IGN ticks me off a lot.

I'm just saying that I am still wary. I remember when NCSX originally reported that Ikaruga was going to be released on the DC, and soon after Treasure denied it, but then came back and announced the release. With Treasure (and a lot of game companies), you can never really know.

Treasure have been a Nintendo-bumming company for most of their exsistance, so I wouldn't discount it.
