Just saw a commercial for the new Kinnikuman which is going to be on Fox Kids under the "Fox Box" (which is where I assume Ultraman and other Japanese shows are going) by the name of "Ultimate Muscle"...I'm both delighted and horrified at the same time.

well that makes sense since that is basically what it translates too...in the same vein I just saw a commercial for Ultraman Tiga and got to hear a little of what I fear is going to be the OP theme. "Ul! Tra! Man! danananaanaana!"
Ah well shouldn't complain too much since they are leaving everything entact except for the voices and not Powerrangering it like any other Tokusatsu/Sentai show. However I was looking forward to singing along. "GONNA TIGA! TAKE ME TAKE ME HIGHER!!"

The cartoon reminded me of those cheap little "Muscle Men" toys that they sold in 4 packs about 15 years ago.

The cartoon reminded me of those cheap little "Muscle Men" toys that they sold in 4 packs about 15 years ago.
Um, yeah, that is what this is based on, except some of these characters are the kids of those characters...
