Anyone seen this anime yet? I thought it looked childish at first. But I ended up liking it! It's humorously cute. And the characters are pretty funny. I enjoyed watching it when I can.

I think this could even rival something like Samurai Pizza Cats or Ramna 1/2.

I personally haven't seen it, but anything named 'Hamtaro' is cool in my book! :)

In voice of the Mortal Kombat announcer... "Hamtaro Wins. Fatality."

Yes,it's kinda funny . Hamtaro is far away from being the best anime I have ever watched, but it's very nice .
Actually,my friends and I made a kind of Anime Awards (this year was the 5th. one) . Yeah, this is stupid, but it's interesting, just a list of nominees and then we and some consulted people choose the winners . Anyway, this year Hamtaro was nominated as Best New Anime and Best Cute Character .
But he didn't get any of them ...

The best part of Hamtaro is when they switch to terrible computer animation. Seriously, when they were sledding through a forest (or something like that) the polygonal trees looked like FMV from a first generation PSX game.

Am I the only one who hates the new trend of computer animating shows instead of using cells?

I don't like the new trend either. Just give me hand drawn 2-D goodness.

Well, the cutest character of the Hamtaro show is that little French hamster. Uber cute.

I don't mind the sun sometimes the image as it shows
I can taste you on my lips and smell you in my clothes
Cinnamon and sugary and softly spoken lies
You never know just how you look through other peoples' eyes...

Later on in the song, there's the phrase "Adventure of wheat..." I really enjoy Azumanga Daioh...especially the manga...(Why did it have to end?!@)

CG animation is a far cry from what it was before, with its sequences of very low signal-to-ick ratio in things like Sabre Marionette J-to-X, Mamotte Shugogetten, Lensman if I really feel like being mean and reaching far, far back...

My favorite OP sequence has to be that of Kidou Densetsu DINAGIGA, which is an absolutely gorgeous rendered CG OP: great characters, sharp and snazzy backgrounds, interesting cuts, uber smooth animation, that ever popular handheld camera style motion...for an anime that was all cel work. The quality difference between the OP and the actual anime is huge; it was made back in early 1998, and the CG OP was exceptionally fine...

*hugs his Dinagiga LD*

I still pop it in every now and then just to see the opening. :) When I get a new video/capture card, I use this LD to test out its ability. :)

Someone's going through some Hamtaro denial.
