Well, despite the story being the most idiotic and boring of any rpg I've found ever, the gameplay was very interesting, a copy of SD2(SoM), but BETTER. Yes, I think that SoE gameplay is better, for the simple reason that in the later stages of SoM, you had to charge your weapon up to... 6-7 levels!! to make a considerable amount of damage, for example to bosses. That was annoying as hell. In SoE, the charging system was better. Only 3 levels maximum, that was better. Also, the "alchemy" was entertaining. The music was pretty good, and the game had it's moments, like the market in the medieval time.
Sadly all the good things were forgotten when you advanced through the (horrible, pathetic) storyline, and in certain places (the forest maze, for example, very boring).
I wouldn't buy it if it was released in GBA, but it would have it's public, I think.
