although Athena looks damn cute with short hair, i would like to see her with longer hair. also, it'd be nice to see another outfit that shows off her legs (eek, CvS2) or possibly her belly button
other things i'd like to see in kof 2002
- Terry with his MOTW outfit!
- an older Ryo (white hair, dark gi)
- Iori with a new outfit (his striker one is perfect! sing, Iori, siiiing!!)

I'm not a fan of Athena's short hair, although I still use the Psycho Soldiers as my team of choice. However when combined with the generally ugly character portraits of 2k1, the short hair was less tolerable.
On the topic of older characters, I always thought that an interesting character for SF3 would have been an older Sakura, having shed her schoolgirl garb and adulation for Ryu and become a more serious fighter.

Ummm, they should have Athena's hair grow back a little bit, to the shoulders.
When did Terry give his hat to Rock. If he did he should just fight without the hat, and then later on cut his hair then change the jacket and stuff. Change him up at a moderation.

Haha, the hair thing is like Ripley in the Aliens movie series,

So that means *gulp* 2003 = headless Athena??

No, in 2003, she will be like this guy in Star Gladiator, with his brain out.
In 2004, Athena will rename herself as Krang and Kensou will rename himself as Shredder. They will team up with two new chinese members called Rocksteady and Bebop to form a new Foot...I mean Psycho Soldier team.
That, or I'm hoping for the Athena with removable head that she can throw at her opponents like Dynamite Headdy.

yea, i dunno. other than isolated personal incidents (like Amakusa's), a lot of people have a sincere hatred against the Kyokugen and Psycho Soldier teams, and their members (most everyone hates the AOF team, with the exception of Robert. and no one really likes the Psycho Soldiers, except Athena. even so, there's still several who dislike Athena)
as for me, i think the Psycho Soldier team's my favorite. i learned to use them all pretty well (i play a mean Chin ^-^ i've made a few people curse at the top of their lungs when he breathes fire ROFL), and of course Athena's my favorite SNK character <3 as for the AOF team, it's my second favorite team. i look at them like i'd look at legends. i think they're all amazing. i wish Kyokugenryu Karate was real
