Did you forgot Hershell couldn't be the same person as freeter, since freeter and I are the same person, and you are the same person as Rid Hershell and The Professor. Since Toxico is at the same time The Beast and Naruto, he is himself Onslaught too, who is just a nickname of freeter. And we just saw that freeter is no other than Rid Hershell, so you are the only one that post on this board on different names, including this one, and therefore, you can't help Iori since you already voted for him.
I don't know who is that "gang", though.

In fact Toxico is also Papá Mono, but no one else (by this time, at least).
I rather not heed those gamefaqs polls, they are nothing more than a joke.

Final Fantasy 7 was after all, THE game that literally singlehandedly kicked off the fanfiction craze across the internet. Yeeeesh, the game was freaking everywhere and webpages for it were a dime a dozen and you couldn't go two steps without finding another self-insert "ressurect Aeris" fanfic or Cloud paired up with whichever character or 50 million Aeris Tifa deathmatches or 101 turk fics and fanart was out there up the wazoo...
And the Sephiroth fangirls... dear God, the Sephiroth fangirls...
And quite a few Vincent ones, too.
Nah, FF7 wasn't the genre that launched Internet fanfiction, it just made it even better. Internet fanfiction was around since the early 90's, especially for anime (rec.arts.anime.stories came online in 92 IIRC). And the first genre to hit it big there was Ranma...Followed by Sailor Moon in 95 when the TV dub hit (Which is when Fanfiction really exploded)....
of course all of these generes have the same flaws as FF7 fics. Bad SIers, cheesy plots, and Fangirls/boys using hteir logic to heap praise on characters and bash others...It's almost amazing what people try and get away with in VG/anime fiction...
