(argh, forgot i was saving my 600th post for this thread. oh well. 601! whoo!)

YEAA!! July 4th!! for me, today's a great day. after all of that terrorist jazz, it's great to see people on the streets and on the news celebrating this day of independence

anyways, i know not everyone here's from the states, but oh well. you can answer too if you want ^_^ what's everyone doing this July 4th? or, uh, if you arrived at this thread late (which you probably did because i'm writing it at midnight central time, hehehe) what'd you do this July 4th?

i was going to wake up Craig with fireworks at about 3 in the morning, but i thought a lot of people would probably be awake at the time.. so i'll probably wake him up in a few days when people sleep early again. by the way, i bought so many smoke bombs! whoo, i can't wait to use these! they're good for, uh, escaping battle

anyways, tonight i didn't go out or anything.. i like spending this day at home ^_^ nice to sit in my room and play an rpg in the dark with fireworks going off in the background (some that i can see through my window ^_^). i spent last year doing the same. just playing video games, enjoying the festive mood

I hung out with a bunch of friends who I have known since elementary school. To honor the 4th, we played four square, just like in the old days! Boy, it was fun.

No fireworks though, but a keg of beer. I didn't partake though, I hate beer and it's all they had.

I'm not actually hunting them as you might have guessed. Al-Qaeda are the organization of "terrorists" who hijacked air planes and crashed them into buildings in NY and Washington D.C.

Of course nothing was gonna happen on July 4th! These terrorists aren't stupid. Everyone expected them to do something. They'll probably do something on just a regular day that doesn't mean anything. Did September 11 mean anything before all that crap happened. No, maybe it was somebody's birthday or something, but that's it.

American. I don't remember a Chinese one. Then again, it's probably because none of my Chinese friends told me about it.
