actually I found Fatal Fury 2 for the SNES, I know it's a really old game but hey! Now all I need is FF1, FF:Special, Real Bout Fatal Fury, and Real Bout Special: Dominated Mind and my non-Neo Geo home system parade of Terry Bogard related games collection is complete!

Edit: Went to another used game store today ^__^ 3 games left (possibly less if I do well in my eBay auctions)

Good luck, but for Real Bout Fatal Fury you'll have to import since it only hit the PSX in Japan...

D'oh...-.-

it's the same with the domestic version of Showdown 3 for the PSX (yeah, I know bad load times. But I want it anyway...). It's nigh impossible to find....

So I think Playmore should take the hint and rerelease all of the SNK games on any system, in any form. I know I'd buy them!

I am currently playing a couple of old Fatal Fury games on emulator...and frankly speaking they brought tears in my eyes as I recalled my old days in the arcades...

Depends on the type of PSX game. If it's an old RPG/Action/fight games that hasn't hit the greatest hits lineup, then your up a creek cause it'll be hard to find.

OTOH the used game stores can't get rid of their copies of old sports games. They have lots, and lots of 97,98, and 99 games sitting there waiting for you to play...:P

I have:
Fatal Fury, Fatal Fury 2, Fatal Fury Special, Art of Fighting, Art of Fighting 2 on NeoGeo,
Real Bout Fatal Fury & Real Bout Fatal Fury Special on Saturn,
Real Bout Fatal Fury Special Dominated Mind & Fatal Fury Wild Ambition on PSX,
Garou: Mark of the Wolves on DC.

And I used to have Fatal Fury, Fatal Fury 2 on SNES, Fatal Fury Special on Sega CD.

But am I better than any other Fatal Fury/Garou Densetsu fans? No way. I just happened to be lucky enough to have such collection. :)

You could own Mai Shiranui herself but so long as you own that awful game your Fatal Fury related collection is laughable!

(actually, for a game that many people feel is awful that has an insanely high resale price... much like that US DBGT fighting game)

It's actually not that bad a game, it just LOOKS really bad.

I don't know where you get the resale value though, I don't think I've ever seen it sold for more than $20. Unless it's the arcade machine you're talking about.

How about a nice Hawaiian BEATDOWN?!!

he he he. I wouldn't say I'm better that's just those games that I have on SNES. The only KoF games I have are 95 on PSX and 98 and 99 on DC. I wish I could have the rest. I also wish I had the real bout games. I was so lucky to get Fatal Fury, FF2, FFSpecial and AoF. My mom was at a video rental place that was going out of business and selling stuff and she called and asked if I wanted anything, so I asked if they had FF, FF2 and/or AoF, and they had all three, so she bought them cheap for me. I'm so glad. I picked up FF Special at Rhino's videogames, I was lucky they had it. I haven't seen it since. I have FF Wild Ambition on my PSX. I like it.

All the used stores around here sell it for $40+ dollars (I guess they think it's a rarity left over from SNK's death no one will ever find again or something...)
